The String Theory Choir
The choir is organized into two distinct sections: the Repertoire class and the Performance class. Both choirs operate on an annual cycle from October to June, bringing together a diverse mix of professional and amateur musicians in a collaborative environment.
The Repertoire class functions as a mixed polyphonic choir. Participants are gradually introduced to increasingly complex polyphony. Training is structured through thematic cycles; at the end of each cycle, the choir presents its work to the public through live performances.
The Performance class is a large-scale, high-caliber mixed polyphonic ensemble that participates in professional artistic projects, stage performances, and recordings. Candidates must possess a strong mastery of their vocal instrument. The repertoire is extensive and includes highly demanding works from the classical repertoire. Admission to this ensemble is conducted via audition.
